With the end near I am full of every emotion. I am currently just working on small adjustments. Over the weekend I got my steel back from being powder coated and they look AMAZING! This week I have been spray painting the collected trash from the beaches blue and attaching them to the wave. It has been a long process and I can't wait to see it all together at Huntington State Beach. There are going to be around 200-300 volunteers and I am excited about family and friends to participate in the clean up and view my sculpture.
The sculpture has also been getting a lot of press allowing me to promote the positive effects of beach cleanups and ways people can alter their life styles to produce less plastic. It has truly been surreal and very humbling. I look forward to continue to educate and show my sculpture with as many people possible. My goal is to create a wave of change!!!
