Another successful Coastal Cleanup Day! It was a great clean up site at Tower 10 at Huntington State Beach where along side Orange County Coastkeepers we worked with hundreds of volunteers and collected 450 pounds of trash off the sands. I was able two show two different works right on the beach, the cigarette Albatross and my Micro Fiber Whale. To see the final tallies of Coastal Cleanup Day around the globe click here.

For the Albatross I hand collected each cigarette butt that were used to create the over 9ft long final piece. It totaled to over 1,500 butts! Having the piece come full circle and be displayed right on the coastline was very fulfilling.
